The Silhouette Cameo 5 builds upon the features of the Cameo 4. There is improved registration mark scanning, the ability to work with thinner materials and physical features such as the adjustable rollers and attachable roller feeder.

Improved Registration Mark Scanning Depending on the material surface, the Cameo 5 can adjust the sensitivity of the scanning sensor. This increases the ability to properly scan registration marks successfully regardless of the material type. Registration marks on materials with a lustrous surface, such as metallic, shiny, or glittery, can now be scanned by the CAMEO5. More Material Types Thinner materials such as tissue paper and decoupage paper can now be more easily cut and you you can seamlessly Print & Cut all materials, even those with a metallic, shiny, or glittery surface.

Electrostatic Mat - Sold Separately The Cameo 5 offers the option to attach an Electrostatic Mat for enhanced functionality. This allows thin materials to be held in place without the need for rollers or an adhesive cutting mat. The Electrostatic Mat generates a static electricity field beneath the material surface that safely holds it in place while cutting. Because there is no need to use a sticky cutting mat, thin materials will not tear or curl on removal. Auto Crosscutter The Crosscutter has been changed from rear manual to front automatic, making trimming and loading easier with fewer errors.

Adjustable Rollers The updated rollers can be adjusted easier than ever before, with increased allowance for setting more material sizes such as 5 inch materials. You can also make fine adjustments to the rollers so the Cameo can accommodate materials that are slightly larger or smaller than standard sizes. Repeat Job Repeat a previous job by simply pressing a button on the machine. Quiet Operation With an ultra-quiet operating noise, users have the ability to use the machine at any time and place.

Emergency Stop It will now be possible to immediately stop a cut job if a major problem arises without losing power to the machine or having to disconnect it. Intelligent Path Technology Introducing our revolutionary algorithm, Intelligent Path Technology (IPT), a patented world-first that optimizes cut orders. IPT revolutionizes the cutting process by optimizing the cutting order to ensure a tension-free cutting experience for materials. It is now possible to cut several layered thin materials at once. This is especially useful for projects that require cutting the same shape repeatedly. Predictive Cut allows designs with sharp, acute angles to be cut cleanly without tearing or rounding the corners.
